Boris Vallejo

This image (above) shows a woman caressing an angel type woman upon tree roots in the sky. I think the image is communicating love between two different creatures due to the fact that there is one ordinary woman and a winged woman with a strange tail.
This image is a piece of fantasy art. I think this image is trying to communicate the fantasy imagination Vallejo has. It shows a woman in a swamp like place with a bow and arrow. This would take the interest of a fantasy artist.

Boris Vallejo is a Peruvian born American Painter. Vallejo works almost exclusively in the fantasy and erotica genres. His hyper-representational paintings have graced the covers of dozens of science fiction paperbacks and are featured in a series of best-selling glossy calendars. Normally, the subjects of his paintings are monsters, gods and well-muscled male and female barbarians engaged in battle.
