Gary J Lucken

This image is of a world map but made up of different coloured, different types of bottles. Some of the bottles include cola cans, beer bottles and water bottles. I like the way the image has been put together as it creates an accurate picture of a world map.
This very colourful and detailed image (below) is of a girl playing on her PS2. This style of art almost reminds me of an online game someone showed me when i was in Junior School called 'Habbo Hotel'. I like the detail that has gone into this image and I think Gary J Lucken is trying to communicate what a stereotypical Japanese teenage girls bedroom looks like as it inlcudes a laptop, a big tv, a Pikachu toy and some Japanese writing and symbols.

Gary J Lucken/Army of Trolls: Army of Trolls is the portfolio of London born, video game-obsessed artist Gary J Lucken. Working from his computer in Switzerland, surrounded by Japanese toys and piles of old 2D video games, Gary produces a unique brand of colourful artwork, heavily influenced by the video games, toys and pop culture he loves so much.
UK-born Army of Trolls is based in Switzerland.
