Julie Bell

This image (above) is of Skaar: Son of Hulk. I think the image is trying to communicate the grusomness of the character and how evil and dangerous he is. I think Julie bell communicates this by the weapon the character is holding- the massive sword thing and also by the characters build- very muscley. Also this image is out of one of the marvel comic issues.
This image is of a woman with wings in a bikini who is on a motorbike. I think this image is trying to communicate the dark side of the woman, as the chopper style motorbike has a kind of skull on the front of it and the picture is quite dark and the motorbike also has spikes coming out of the wheels and a tail thing coming out of the back of the motorbike. I think the target audience for this piece of art would be for aspiring fantasy artists.

Julie Bell is an American painter/ fantasy artist. Julie Bell has painted the covers for about 100 fantasy/science fiction book and magazine covers since 1990. In the early '90s, she illustrated painted covers for video games as well as many trading cards for the superheroes of Marvel and DC.
